Review: Love, Words & Puzzles

Today I am going to review two Impulse scents that I haven’t previously tried before. I had seen these when they first came out, but decided I wasn’t really interested in them! I happened to be shopping one day and saw them and just decided to pick them both up to try out. They also sound like they are part of the same line, so I thought it would be a good idea for me to review them in one post.
Loving Words
The can design I have is a kind of jade colour, which is the main base colour. Underneath the logo there are a lot of different coloured words making up a heart. All the permanent scents have since had their cans re-designed. This can is now white based with a jade green bottom design with lilac flowers. The new design is very girly and it is nice, but not as eye-catching as the design of the can I currently have! You get 75ml of product in the can.

The fragrance notes are:-

Violet & Raspberry

This scent smells really fruity, florally, sexy and fresh. The raspberry is definitely the dominating note. The violet does tone down the raspberry quite a bit and it is kind of woodsy. The scent makes me think of a tropical ocean. This does smell really nice and it is kind of masculine compared to Love Puzzle. This probably won’t last all day, but because it is one of the stronger scents it should stick around a while.

This is a really great scent and would definitely re-purchase it.

Love Puzzle
This can design is white based with a lot of different coloured words making up a heart shape around the logo. You get 75ml of product in the can.

The fragrance notes are:-

Top Notes: Pear, Plum, Apricot & Mango
Middle Notes: Peony, Lilac & Violet
Base Notes: Blackberry, Musk, White Amber & Sandalwood

This scent smells really fruity, florally light and fresh. I can really smell the fruit notes and the peony. It smells gorgeous! This scent probably won’t last all day, but Impulse scents in general do last quite a long time. From experience, the stronger it smells when you spray it, the longer it lasts on your skin. This has a softer scent than Loving Words and is slightly more beach and summer smelling, but they really do smell completely different!

This scent was Limited Edition for Summer 2012, so you’ll be lucky if you manage to find a can. It is definitely now one of my favourites, I’m just sad it took me so long to try it because I may not be able to re-purchase it!

I hope you found these reviews helpful,
please let me know what your favourite Impulse scent is.

Bye for now!

Katie Price 'Stunning' Perfume VS JoJo Siwa 'Be You' Perfume - Are they the same?

I was browsing on AllBeauty.com and looking at celebrity fragrances and I saw that one was listed for JoJo Siwa. I had heard of JoJo before, but I don’t really know anything about her. I clicked on it out of interest and when I first saw the image of the perfume, I thought maybe the wrong photograph had been uploaded until I clicked on it and saw the description of the perfume. When I first saw the photograph, before I clicked on it to read the description, I instantly thought, that’s Stunning by Katie Price! I looked into it a bit more and compared it to Stunning. The JoJo Siwa “version” is called Be You. Photo Source: Perfume.com Stunning by Katie Price ·          Released in 2007 (12 years ago). ·          Contains the notes; Mandarin Orange, Jasmine & Patchouli. ·          Classed as a floral scent. ·          Marketed as an adult’s fragrance. ·          Diamonds by Next is a confirmed dupe of this perfume, but the bottle is completely different. Review: Rimmel Wake Me Up

Wake Me Up Foundation I bought this after seeing the advertisement for it on Rimmel’s Facebook, and I thought the description sounded perfect for me. The packaging is made of glass and it has a curved shape, with the Rimmel logo and product name printed in the centre on a bit of plastic tape. The cap is a slanted block shape made of plastic and it is a bright orange colour with glitter sparkle. This product has an orange plastic pump, which dispenses the product. All the relevant information is printed on the back, like most products. It is also packaged in a plastic wrapper, with a security tag. This product is marketed as a foundation that “instantly reawakens skin, with a healthy, radiant glow”. It is also mean’t to be light weight and give a poreless and flawless complexion. It also contains SPF15 for sun protection and illuminating pearls, which is mean’t to give your face a natural glow. It is also mean’t to “bounce your skin back to life” and banish the signs of fat

Urban Decay Super Saturated High-Gloss Lip Color

I received this product as part of the Oz: The Great and Powerful Theodora Palette, which also includes eyeliner. I am going to review the product as a whole, even though I only have it in the one shade. This product is a jumbo/chubby lip pencil with a black plastic lid. It is just like the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners, but bigger. Each barrel of each pencil is a different colour, to clearly show the colour of each shade. Theodora is a bright, creamy, glossy cherry red shade and is Limited Edition, but it is part of the regular line and is instead called F-Bomb . You get 2.8g of product and it is full size. You also have to sharpen it to dispense more product. The formula is smooth, creamy, glossy and slightly tacky, but not sticky. This product is supposed to give your lips an opaque, saturated and pigment rich colour with a glossy finish. It is also mean’t to be quite creamy so that it glides onto your lips. The product is also said to contain plant derived ingredients, whi
